Our Story

On August 23, 2011, fifteen years of perceived marital bliss nearly came to a tragic end for Rusty and Heather Bryant.

Rusty & Heather Bryant

Heather's confession of two extramarital affairs over the previous summer threatened to destroy a marriage, a family, a ministry, and a church. While this couple may have been tempted to concede to a hopeless and unrepairable set of circumstances, God used Satan's best shot at destruction as an opportunity to perform a miracle of healing in a marriage. Rusty and Heather's story was a public scandal that brought shame and embarrassment to themselves, their family, and their small community.

However, these two humble children of God long to see their story of forgiveness and redemption as a public display of God's grace, mercy, and love, even in the midst of tragedy.

They have committed themselves to sharing with other couples what they have learned through their life altering experiences. Their desire is to share insights discovered from a week-long marriage intensive, exhaustive hours of marital counseling and mentoring, numerous marriage retreats and conferences, countless books and sermons, and, first and foremost, through timeless truths from the Word of God.

Their goal is to encourage healthy marriages, strengthen wounded marriages, and begin the process of restoration to marriages on the brink of divorce. Their ultimate mission is to depict a living picture of Christ's relationship with His children through a marriage that has been given a second chance.

" 3 Strands Marriage Ministry exists to encourage healthy marriages, strengthen wounded marriages, and begin the process of restoration to broken marriages. " - Rusty Bryant
